Hear Dolores O’Riordan’s final voice mail

It’s still a mystery what caused the death of late Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan on January 15, but a voice mail recorded shortly before her passing shows the singer in a jovial mood, excited over her part in an upcoming cover of the song “Zombie” performed by Bad Wolves.

The voice mail, which was posted by TMZ Thursday, was sent to executive Dan Waite of Eleven Seven Records hours before she was scheduled to add vocals to the Bad Wolves cover in London. O’Riordan, who passed away at age 46 before the session, is heard on the voice mail saying she felt the cover was “fucking awesome” and sounded “fucking terribly good.”

A report earlier this week from O’Riordan’s home newspaper, the Limerick Leader, stated that an inquest into the cause of O’Riordan’s death has been postponed, so there’s no telling at this point when more details might emerge about her mysterious passing.
