See Serj Tankian join with Audioslave to pay tribute to Chris Cornell

The surviving members of Audioslave were joined by a very special guest Tuesday night as System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian took the stage with them in Auckland, New Zealand to perform a rendition of the song “Like A Stone”.

Band members Tom Morello, Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford were performing with their current band, Prophets of Rage, when they were joined by Tankian, who resides in New Zealand, to pay tribute to late Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell, who was the original singer on “Like A Stone”. It’s not the first time the group performed the song with Tankian, who also joined them on stage in 2017 at Rock am Ring.

Cornell’s widow Vicky posted her thanks for the performance via Twitter.
