David Byrne announces album, tour, releases single

David Byrne officially announced American Utopia on Monday, his first true solo album since 2004’s Grown Backwards. Byrne has been a part of collaborations with St. Vincent, Brian Eno, and Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) since then, but American Utopia will be the first Byrne-only album in 14 years.

Along with the announcement came the revelation of a new tour, which will include a spring and summer full of festival stops. Here’s a look at the dates:
