Song of the Day: George Harrison – “I’d Have You Anytime”

On this day in 1971, George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass began a seven-week run atop U.S. album chart. This track is the album opener, starting things off with a mellow mood rather than with a bang, and it worked well as a lead in to lineup of hits that followed. As was the case with the album itself, this song was a true all-star effort as it was written by Harrison and Bob Dylan at Dylan’s house in Upstate New York in 1968, featured guitar work from Eric Clapton, and production from Phil Spector.
