Song of the Day: Alice Cooper – “No More Mr. Nice Guy”

Despite the title of this track, which is one of Alice Cooper’s classics, he actually is a nice guy. Case in point — on this day in 1991, Alice stepped up to help some fans who needed help to save their house from foreclosure. Patrick and Dee Ann Kelly of Riverside, California were in danger of losing their home, and Patrick painted Cooper’s face on the house to help sell it. Cooper showed up to sign autographs to raise money for the house, and over 4,000 fans showed up in support. The song was written as Cooper’s response for his over-the-top stage antics, but it doesn’t sound like it was a reflection of who he really is.
