Noel Gallagher Has A New Album On The Way, Selling Gear From His Private Collection

Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds have announced the follow up to 2015’s Chasing Yesterday. The album will be entitled Who Built The Moon?, out November 24 on Sour Mash Records. The Birds have released an album launch trailer showing snippets of what could be expected, that can be seen below along with the track listing, upcoming tour dates too.

Believe it or not was well, Noel is the latest artist to sell pieces of musical gear through the equipment marketplace Reverb, as Rolling Stone reports. The older of the two Gallagher brothers is selling amps, effects units, guitars, and other pieces in sale that will include over 50 items from his private collection. The sale includes an Orange OR120 Overdrive amp that was used on the road with Oasis, as well as a late-1990s Mellotron Mk VI used in the studio with the band. “These pieces have a lot history, but they’re still very playable,” Gallagher said in a quote. “I’d love to get them into the hands of someone who will put them to good use.”
