Satch Is Back With Friends




Joe Satriani has announced his 16th solo album, entitled What Happens Next. The most exciting details entail Satch being joined by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple/Black Country Communion) on bass and drummer Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), the latter reuniting with Satriani for the first time since their work in the supergroup Chickenfoot.

What Happens Next is set for a January 12th, 2018 release. What Happens Next can be preordered at www.satriani.com and the first track “Energy” can be heard.

Also, to bring up Chickenfoot (the super group consisting of the legendary guitarist alongside former VAN HALEN singer Sammy Hagar, ex-VAN HALEN bassist Michael Anthony and REyD HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith), Satriani said that he is “feeling very positive” about Chickenfoot’s chances of making new music in 2018.
