As we do every year on the anniversary of his passing, today we get into some Jimi Hendrix. This track is timely as it’s off the Are You Experienced album, which celebrated a 50th anniversary last week. Written for his late mother, Jimi certainly matched the sound with the lyrics on this one (“Waterfall, Nothing can harm me at all/My worries seem so very small/With my waterfall/I can see/My rainbow calling me/Through the misty breeze/Of my waterfall). One of his more relaxing songs, and definitely beautiful.
