Maybe this one can be called Album Side of the Day. The epic 33-minute plus live jam made up two sides of the double album Eat A Peach; originally it was split in two but was included as one song in CD versions. Influenced by Donovan’s “There is a Mountain,” this track was originally recorded during the legendary Fillmore East concert of 1971 but was too long to fit on that album. The band’s players are showcased here, but the highlight comes from Duane Allman, whose striking “Will The Circle Be Unbroken” solo just past the 27-minute mark tears the roof off.
