Coldplay fan gets thrill of a lifetime at Dublin show

Coldplay fan Rob O’Byrne was surely excited when he received tickets to the band’s July 8 concert in Dublin, Ireland as a Christmas present last year, but he probably never imagined it would come to this.

In the middle of the show, concertgoers lifted the wheelchair-bound O’Byrne up over the crowd, then passed him through the crowd to the stage. Once he reached the stage, O’Byrne performed an improvised song with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, during which he played the harmonica. Watch below:

“I was just more shocked than anything else, so I just went for it,” O’Byrne told CBS News.

O’Byrne was able to keep the harmonica as a souvenir, and a whole bunch of unbelievable memories to go with it.
