Country legend Loretta Lynn suffers stroke, expected to recover

Country music legend Loretta Lynn is under medical care in a Nashville, Tennessee hospital after suffering a stroke on Thursday, according to an announcement on her website.

Lynn, 85, suffered the stroke at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee on Thursday. Her website says she is “responsive and expected to make a full recovery.”

Lynn, whose new album Wouldn’t It Be Great is due out August 18, will be postponing some of her scheduled tour dates while she recovers. Lynn’s current tour is scheduled through November.
