Iggy Pop To Celebrate Beloved Albums With 40th Anniversary Reissues

According to Consequence of Sound Iggy Pop will be celebrating the reissue of his first two solo albums. The Idiot and Lust For Life will make their way back on to vinyl along with 1978’s TV Eye Live. (recorded during his 1977 US tour).

What makes these albums special is The Idiot and Lust for Life overlapped into Bowie’s own ‘Berlin Trilogy.’ This is important because The Thin White Duke produced, co-wrote and played on The Idiot and Lust for Life, and plays keyboards on TV Eye Live.

Theses albums are being released in a special color edition exclusively through Universal’s uDiscoverMusic store-you can see photos of the bundle below. If colored vinyl isn’t your thing then expect to find these albums on black vinyl online and at your local record stores.
