Song of the Day: Traveling Wilburys – “Handle With Care”

Today marks the birthday of the late great Roy Orbison, who was born on this day in 1936. Here’s a memorable moment for Roy from his time with the ultra-mega-uber-supergroup Traveling Wilburys. This track was originally supposed to be the B-Side for the George Harrison single “This Is Love” but wound up being performed by the Wilburys instead. It’s a great song, but Roy’s vocals on the bridge steal the show. The others would probably have no problem admitting that. This song was the last Orbison release before his death of a heart attack at age 52 in December 1988.
