Soundgarden announces spring tour



Soundgarden will be hitting the road this spring for a U.S. tour that will take them through 18 gigs in less than a month.

The shows kick off at the WXTV Rockfest on April 28 and continue through the Rocklahoma music festival on May 27. See the dates below, via Billboard.com:

May 13 – Somerset, WI @ Northern Invasion

May 14 – Kansas City, MO @ Starlight Theatre

May 17 – Detroit, MI @Fox Theatre

May 19 – Columbus, OH @ Rock on the Range

May 20 – Maryland Heights, MO @ KPNT Pointfest

May 22 – Denver, CO @ Fillmore Auditorium

Opening acts include The Pretty Reckless and Dillinger Escape Plan. Tickets will go on sale to the public Friday, March 3. Soundgarden is also at work on a follow-up to their 2012 album King Animal.
