Just when you thought the Peter Frampton and Steve Miller was something to get excited about, make way for Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, and Edgar Winter. That’s right. The tour itself will have the artists stopping in 19 North American cities, starting in Las Vegas on Aug. 12 and continuing through Sept. 10, when they’re booked for a final date in Cincinnati. They’ll also be stepping outside of the U.S. to play a date in Toronto, Canada on September 2nd.

As we reported last year, Deep Purple is finally releasing their 20th studio LP entitled Infinite. They’re also in the middle of their Long Goodbye Tour. It is also believed that Alice Cooper is writing new material with surviving members of his original band.
