The Jesus and Mary Chain is back folks, and they’ll be releasing their first album since 1998’s Munki. Damage and Joy sees the group bring together performances from the band’s touring drummer Brian Young and former Lush bassist Phil King. The group released the tweet below in which Steve Lamacq will premier “Amputation” on BBC 6 Music radio this evening. See a trailer below.


The Jesus and Mary Chain’s Damage and Joy will be out March 24 via ADA/Warner Music. The final track list can be seen below.
