Gregg Allman announces winter tour

greggallmanGregg Allman will be making a quick tour across the southern United States this winter, a great sign following the health issues he had earlier in the year that resulted in 28 cancelled shows.

Allman, 68, spent time in the Mayo Clinic on August as he cancelled the shows due to what was called “serious health issues.” Allman, who has atrial fibrillation, has been told by doctors in the past to keep a light schedule to help maintain his health.

This group of shows will span just over three weeks and will consist of 14 gigs in six states. Check out the dates below, via RollingStone.com.
