Song of the Day: Fleetwood Mac – “Rhiannon”



On this day 40 years ago, Fleetwood Mac topped the U.S. album charts with their self-titled album that had been out for over a year. Written by Stevie Nicks, the song was influenced by a character named Rhiannon from the novel Triad by Mary Bartlet Leader. It was of course one of the lasting hits from the album, and perhaps a reason why every now and then you meet someone named Rhiannon.
