Led Zeppelin Share Unreleased “Sunshine Woman”

jimmypageguitarThe 16th of September will be upon us sooner than you think. On that date, Led Zeppelin will be remastering and reissuing their classic 1997 BBC Sessions in the form of The Complete BBC Sessions. Along with the original two discs, this set will contain a third disc of previously unheard recordings, including three recordings from a “lost” session from 1969.

Today The Guardian posted what I know I’ve been waiting for — what could possibly be he last previously unheard complete Zeppelin song to get an official release. Only available bootlegged in poor audio quality, Zeppelin’s “Sunshine Woman” will be rounding out the third disc.

Jimmy Page commented via an interview in MOJO, “It’s the best version you’ll find of the track, even though there’s no point pretending it wasn’t recorded off the radio.” The song is currently unavailable in the U.S. But, once a recording is acquired, you can expect to find it here. You can check out the full track at the Wall Street Journal.
