Watch: Steven Adler joins Guns N’ Roses on stage

Guns N’ Roses took one step closer to a full reunion on Wednesday night as drummer Steven Adler joined the band on stage in Cincinnati for the first time in 26 years.

Adler, who was dismissed from Guns N’ Roses in 1990 for heroin addiction, performed with the band on the songs “Out Ta Get Me” and “My Michelle.” Take a look below (via Anthony Sunta/YouTube):

The only member of the classic Guns N’ Roses lineup missing on Wednesday night was guitarist Izzy Stradlin, who said earlier this year that he planned on having no involvement with the reunion tour (Stradlin also released a single this week, accompanied by former GNR drummer Matt Sorum.)

Despite the band’s history, everything seems to be hunkydory with the reunion so far. "It seems so surreal to me, but everybody’s really
getting along great and I think everybody’s come a long way and it’s all cool,"

guitarist Slash said earlier this month.
