Song of the Day: Harry Nilsson – “Everybody’s Talkin'”

Today marks the birthday of late singer/songwriter Harry Nilsson, who would have been 75 years old today. Here’s one of Nilsson’s most popular tracks, a cover of a Fred Neil song originally released in 1966. The Nilsson version became a hit, reaching No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has appeared in the films Forrest Gump, The Hangover Part III, and Borat, but the most famous use of it in a film is of course Midnight Cowboy. Nilsson died of heart failure in 1994 at age 53.
