Listen: Thee Oh Sees Announce New Album, Share “Plastic Plant”

It seems that one of my favorite albums, 2015’s Mutilator Defeated At Last by is getting a follow up as psychedelic warriors Thee Oh Sees have announced their new album A Weird Exits. Pitchfork reports A Weird Exits is out August 12 via Castle Face. It’s the band’s first studio album where John Dwyer is accompanied by drummers Ryan Moutinho and Dan Rincon as well as bassist Tim Hellman.

The art work for the inter-dimensional album can be seen below.

Along with that announcement, the Sees have shared their first track off the album. “Plastic Plant” is an energetic, slinky warp that the Sees have always staked their sound on. You can listen to it here.
