Desert Trip Festival Confirmed With Impressive Lineup


After weeks of speculation, it has finally been confirmed. The Desert Trip festival will take place at the Coachella site in Indio, Calif. and is set for Oct. 7th-9th at the Empire Polo Field.

Not since Woodstock has a line up been so impressive. The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan are featured on Friday; Paul McCartney and Neil Young – who is appearing with Promise of the Real – follow on Saturday; and Desert Trip wraps up with Sunday night performances by Roger Waters and the Who.

Reserved seats and general admission passes go on sale Monday (May 9th) at 10AM Pacific Time. You can find all the information you need at their site here. With the artists scheduled to be there, this is sure to be crazy.

Here’s a look at how much it will cost:

General Admission:
-$199 single day (plus fees)
-$224 single day (plus fees)
-$399 3-day (plus fees)
-$424 3-day + shuttle (plus fees)
-$1,599 3-day + standing pit (plus fees)

3-day reserved floor seats – $699, $999, or $1,599 (plus fees); $1,599 includes “Platinum Level” parking and access to the “Platinum Lounge”

3-day reserved grandstand seating – $999 or $1,599 (plus fees); $1,599 includes “Platinum Level” parking and access to the “Platinum Lounge”

  1. Wow. I hardly ever go to shows anymore, and I’m tempted to go to this one. I doubt anything like this will happen again… We’re already losing too many rockers.
