Song of the Day: The Young Rascals – “Good Lovin'”



It was on this day 50 years ago that this song hit No. 1 on the U.S. singles chart, and it still sounds great today. The song was originally recorded by R&B singer Limmie Snell, a.k.a. “Lemme B. Good” in 1965, then by The Olympians one month later, but it was The Young Rascals’ version that is the most well-known. The song placed No. 333 on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list.
