Song of the Day: Aerosmith – “Train Kept A-Rollin'”

Happy birthday wishes go out to legendary Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, who turns 68 years old today. Just as we hope he keeps rollin’ and rollin’, we’re going with this track in honor of his birthday. This is a truly killer cover of Tiny Bradshaw’s 1951 release and one of my favorite Aerosmith moments. The song was an early Aerosmith staple and was the closing song at their first live show and many others to come. The up-tempo conclusion of the studio version of the song had crowd noise from a George Harrison concert dubbed over it to give it a live feel.
