Listen to Iggy Pop’s new ‘Post Pop Depression’ album

Iggy Pop’s new album Post Pop Depression isn’t scheduled to hit the streets until March 18, but you can get an early listen now, via NPR’s First Listen.

The album, which was produced by Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, is getting positive reception so far. NPR’s Jason Heller writes, “Throughout its nine songs, Pop pipes in his most unctuous croon, a work of nature that’s only become more monumental as it’s eroded over the decades. But with Homme’s acumen as the architect of Queens Of The Stone Age stirred into the mix, there’s decadent ecstasy to the album that’s as far from glum as you can get… If Post Pop Depression does end up being Pop’s last recorded hurrah, it’s a worthy one.”
