Song of the Day: U2 – “One Tree Hill”

On this day in 1987, U2 released their seminal album The Joshua Tree, which went on to sell over 25 million copies worldwide. The album is a true classic from start to finish and contains several classic songs. This one isn’t quite as well-known as some of the album’s biggest hits, but it’s one of my favorites by the band. Inspired by the death of friend and roadie Greg Carroll, the song hasn’t often been played live due to its emotional nature for the band.
