Song of the Day: George Harrison – What Is Life

Today marks the birthday of the late great George Harrison, who would have been 73 years old today. This is one of his more popular solo songs — a top 10 hit around the world from his classic album All Things Must Pass. Originally written by Harrison for his friend Billy Preston, the song was an all-star effort, with Eric Clapton and the Delaney & Bonnie and Friends band backing Harrison along with co-production from Phil Spector. The song has appeared in Goodfellas and This Is 40, among other films.
