2016’s Dimebash Went Down WIth A Nice Surprise

Dimebash was held at Lucky Strike Live in Hollywood, Calif. this past Friday (Jan. 22), and with it brought a whole hell of a lot of ass-kicking performances. Pantera anthem “Walk” was of course preformed (video below). Joining Phillip Anselmo for the rendition was Pantera bassist Rex Brown, Dave Grohl on guitar, Slayer’s Paul Bostaph behind the kit and more.

But, the bash also happened to pay tribute to another legend — late Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister. Lemmy was very much worth paying tribute to because a lot of the men on that stage owe him their career. The lineup behind the “Ace of Spades” performance (video below) consisted of Anselmo, Grohl, Metallica‘s Robert Trujillo, and former Slayer and current Dead Cross legend Dave Lombardo on drums. You can see the video below as they rip through it in fine form.
