Radiohead To Tour In 2016

thomyorkeAs 2016 rolls on, the speculation is rampant on when we’ll receive Radiohead’s ninth LP. However, one thing is clear — Radiohead will tour in 2016.

The band has so far announced that they’ll headline OpenAir St. Gallen, a Swiss music festival scheduled for June 30th – July 3rd. Two other dates have been confirmed — Barcelona’s Primavera Sound Music Festival and NOS Alive Festival in Lisbon, Portugal.

One rumor is that the tour might include many prominent North American festivals including Lollapalooza, which will be celebrating its 25th anniversary with a full four days instead of three. It also seems individual tour dates will be added to that roster as well.

One other rumor that has been floating around is regarding the live debut of LP9. As of now, Primavera is Radiohead’s first live return taking place from June 2nd to the 4th. Many reports have speculated that we’ll see a live debut of many LP9 songs. The question I have ask is how long will we now have to wait? The only thing that I can do right now is keep listening to the beautiful rejected Bond theme that Radiohead released around Christmas.
