Song of the Day: Bad Company – “Feel Like Makin’ Love”

I often check rock history sites for help on which Song of the Day to select as we like to match important rock dates with the song selection. The sites I look at say that on this day in 1974, Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke of Free, Boz Burrell of King Crimson and Mick Ralphs of Mott the Hoople joined together to form Bad Company. However, the band’s web site say they formed in 1973. So, truth be told, I don’t know if they formed today or not. But, I don’t feel like changing it, because now I’m in the mood for some Bad Company. I’m sure this is the choice of many as their favorite from this band. The song was once named the 78th best hard rock song of all time by VH1 and peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
