Many Musicians To Honor Dimebag Darrell At This Years ‘Dimebash’

dimebagdarrellTaking place at the Lucky Strike Live in Hollywood, California on January 22, the Monster Energy Ride For Dime Dimebash 2016 is a benefit honoring late PANTERA guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott. The live concert event will feature exclusive collaborative performances by hard rock and metal legends, including members of PANTERA, SLAYER, ALICE IN CHAINS, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, MACHINE HEAD, HATEBREED, STONE SOUR, TYPE O NEGATIVE, DANZIG, KING’S X, DEVILDRIVER, PRONG, KYNG, and ARMORED SAINT.

What’s exciting about the Dimebash is that proceeds from the event will go to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund, which is an organization that funds cancer research. If you’re not able to attend, you can donate to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund by going to www.ronniejamesdio.com. As some may sadly remember, Dimebag was shot to death along with three others during a DAMAGEPLAN performance at the Alrosa Villa nightclub in Columbus, Ohio in December 2004. Dime was one hell of a talent.
