Fans across the world pay tribute to David Bowie

The passing of David Bowie on Sunday resulted in a large worldwide outpouring of love and support for the late superstar as fans from around the world mourned his death online as well as on the streets.

Fans in Bowie’s hometown of Brixton, London gathered in the streets to sing some Bowie classics.

Meanwhile, fans in New York City left flowers and messages outside Bowie’s home.

In Los Angeles, fans gathered at Bowie’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

At the Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow, Scotland, organist Christopher Nicol played a musical tribute to Bowie.

In Tuscon, Arizona, the Rialto Theater changed their sign to honor Bowie.

Finally, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea permanently memorialized Bowie in his own way.
