Get Excited, Radiohead Has Established A New Company

thomyorkeRadiohead fans, an album could be coming sooner then we expected.

After their six-album record contract ended with EMI in 2005, Radiohead has been described by the New York Times as “the world’s most popular unsigned band.” This couldn’t be closer to the truth.

Since going independent, Radiohead has always created a new LLC to release their albums. First, the band founded Xurbia Xendless Ltd. to distribute that October’s In Rainbows. Then, the band established Ticker Tape Ltd. in December of 2010 to pave the way for February 2011’s The King of Limbs.

Following in those same footsteps, Radiohead established Dawn Chorus LLP in October of 2015. Now of course this is only speculation right now. However, this is the strongest hint we’ve gotten that their ninth LP could be coming sooner rather than later.

That’s not the only recent activity in the Radiohead camp. You’ll remember at the end of last year Radiohead released their “rejected” Bond theme. If this is what rejected Radiohead sounds like, then I have every reason to name Radiohead’s new LP my number one most anticipated album of the year. Let’s hope the hype train delivers soon.
