Rocknuts Insider: Stalkers, drugs and Courtney’s Love

1) An obsessed fan has been hounding Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda. A string of harassing text messages have gotten so bad, Shinoda’s sought help from the LAPD. Allegedly, the messages are coming from a woman named Tabitha Boccarossa, “who believes she is Shinoda’s wife.” Shinoda’s been getting bizarre tweets since October. Things like: “Omg, my feet are gross and I want to cry” and “Have you ever not wondered what it was like to miss every emotion you have ever felt and been built from for 30 years?” (via Loudwire)

2) Courtney Love thanks Kurt. Courtney Love recently posted a heart-warming Instagram pic. She’s posing in it with the late Kurt Cobain of Nirvana and their daughter Frances. “That Christmas moment in everyones lives that you never forget,” Love writes. “The one that makes you feel on top of the world, where the greatest gifts are the loved ones you shared that moment with. Well this is mine, I’m grateful to have ever experienced that moment. Merry Christmas Kurt, the greatest true love I’ve ever experienced in my life. You gave me the gift that makes life worth living, our incredibly talented, loving, beautiful and gifted daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Merry Christmas Bean, love mom and dad ❤🎅👪”

3) Drugs + Puddle of Mudd. Things continue to go downhill for Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin. Just before Christmas, the band’s lead singer was pulled over for expired tags in Beverly Hills. Police then realized there was a warrant out for Scantlin’s arrest. They searched his car and found a “controlled substance.” “Scantlin’s year has included an arrest at a Denver airport after he took a joy ride on the baggage carousel and was discovered in a restricted area, a DWI arrest in Minnesota and a DUI arrest in South Dakota,” Loudwire reports.
