Rich Karfilis recalls:Every year the Beatles would rattle off a Christmas song and message they would distribute to fan club members and play on radio stations. Remember, this was a band that released two and sometimes three albums per year – they were busy people who weren’t going to spend much time on a record that wasn’t for sale. And it’s that ad lib nature of these artifacts that gives them their charm, it’s like a glimpse of the lads horsing around in the studio. There’s not really very much to this song, but if you only heard the drum track, you’d know it was the Beatles. Happy Christmas To All!
