Song of the Day: The Parlor Mob – “Everything You’re Breathing For”

Christopher Tahy recalls: What a kick ass discovery that this was. My best friend and I had the pleasure to attend Lollapalooza 2008. The list of artists included The National, The Black Keys, Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead, Gnarls Barkley, and more. But The Parlor Mob is a band that kind of sneaks up on you. Hanging out at one of the side stages waiting for other artists, The Parlor Mob takes the stage and blows us away. “Everything You’re Breathing For” has all the making of a classic rocker. Air guitar-worthy riffs, thundering drums, and a speedy and heavy breakdown. The hooks of this song carry over to their full length debut You Were A Crow — it doesn’t disappoint. The Parlor Mob is a underrated band that need more love. Listen and rock on Rocknuts.
