Fall Out Boy: ‘Please, Disney, let us score a movie’

falloutboy1Since punk rock band Fall Out Boy wrote and recorded “Immortals” for Disney’s 2014 film “Big Hero 6,” the band now seems to be interested in writing film soundtracks.

At the 2015 American Music Awards — where the band won the Favorite Alternative/Rock Band of the Year award — several of the band members weighed in on how they felt about scoring an entire film in the future, rather than just a single.

“After we did Big Hero 6, movies hit us up and that kind of stuff,” bassist Pete Wentz told Billboard. “Big Hero 6 worked because it was this big specific thing that worked in our world.”

Frontman Patrick Stumpf agreed, highlighting Disney as a source of potential work.

“Please, Disney, let us score a movie,” he said.

Earlier this week, Fall Out Boy performed at the Grey Cup halftime show in Canada.
