Ozzy Osbourne says no final album for Black Sabbath

ozzyBlack Sabbath announced earlier this year that their upcoming “The End” tour will mark the final days of the band, and in a recent interview, frontman Ozzy Osbourne stood firm by that stance.

“It’s the end of Sabbath, believe me,” Osbourne said to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Ozzy told the Times-Picayune that the band has also “opted against” putting out one last album and added that while the tour will be the official end of the band, it doesn’t mean he won’t take the stage with his bandmates again at some point.

“In December, I’ll be f——‘ 68 and I think it’s time to call it the end of the day,” Osbourne said. “I’m not saying I won’t get on stage with Geezer or Tony (Iommi) or any of them some time, but officially we’re going to be done.

“I don’t want it to dwindle and dwindle and play just for the sake of making another f——‘ sack full of cash. So it’s time, and then I’ll go back to doing my own thing.”
