Yoko Ono celebrates John Lennon’s birthday with giant peace sign

Yoko Ono attempted to set a world record today for the largest number of humans forming a peace sign in honor of her late husband John Lennon’s birthday on Tuesday, and while her attempt fell short, it was a touching birthday commemoration nonetheless.

Ono was able to gather reportedly around 2,000 people to make the sign in New York City’s Central Park, per Artnet News. That number falls short of the record of 5,814 people, but it made for a great scene.

Lennon would have been 75 years old on Tuesday.
