Bobbi Kristina Brown dies at 22

brownBobbi Kristina Brown has died after six months in a medically-induced coma. Bobbi Kristina was the daughter of singers Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston, and she was also the sole heiress to Whitney Houston’s estate after the signer’s death in February 2012.

Bobbi Kristina’s death is eerily similar to her mother’s. Both were found unresponsive in bathtubs. Brown died in hospice care yesterday, at the age of 22. A statement released by the family thanked “everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

In Whitney Houston’s final interview before her death, she expressed her love for her daughter: “My daughter is my greatest inspiration,” she told Access Hollywood.

Bobbi Kristina expressed similar notions during a 2012 interview with Oprah: “She wasn’t only a mother, she was a best friend. She was a sister, a comforter … this spirit that she had, no matter where she went, no matter what she said to anyone, it touched everyone.”
