Influential blues legend B.B. King let fans know on Tuesday that he is feeling better after being rushed to the hospital on Saturday.

King was hospitalized on Saturday for what was reported to be dehydration stemming from type II diabetes. A message was posted to King’s Facebook page with a quote from King saying he was heading home from the hospital today.

“I want to thank everyone for their concern and good wishes,” King said. “I’m feeling much better & am leaving the hospital today.”

  1. That’s too bad–I saw him in concert when he was a mere 80 years old and he could definitely still bring it.
